Enough is Enough // Two Decades of Successful Complacency
For the past two decades the use of small drones have been a buzzing alarm bell for national defense and security forces. For the past five years, daily news feeds of foreign wars have hammered home the need to adopt small drone tactics and urgently mend vulnerabilities. And yet, in 2025, the broad adoption of the latest drone and counterdrone technologies across operational forces is non-existent.
The 2025 National Drone Conference agenda will highlight the latest tactics and technologies used in the 2025 Military Drone Crucible Championship, but more importantly provide a deep analysis on the hard policy, budget, and legislative barriers preventing adoption, and the documented "human factors" - complacency, culture, bureaucracy, politics, and pride - that intangibly pose a tangible risk to Americans domestically and operating overseas.
